From ToBeYoung.org: Last night at the Largo theatre, Jeff Garlin and Ryan recorded a conversation for Jeff Garlin's podcast. It was at the small largo theatre which has a capacity of ~280 people. I believe it should be up on Jeff's site in a couple of weeks, and it was freakin' hilarious. Not to spoil too much, but there are some new Bryan Adams stories that had the whole place in laughter. Once they stopped the tape, Jeff let him borrow his guitar for a few songs. Jeff mentioned that his favorite album was Love is Hell, so Ryan had to wikipedia the album to see what tracks were on it. He started with "Please Do Not Let Me Go". After that he started talking about his writer's block and during that time he would watch movies and use his lyrics as a movie review. He then broke into "Afraid Not Scared" while reading the lyrics off his iPhone (when is the last time he played that???) The whole audience was able to guess that the second part of the song is clearly about "Titanic." He then teased a bit of "The House is Not for Sale" and had Jeff incorrectly guess what movie this is about. Most the crowd was able to help him out with Beetlejuice. Ryan finished with Let it Ride, as well as a few improv songs to end the night. It was an amazing night, and one I will remember for a long time. I definitely recommend checking out the podcast for the stories when it is available.Line-upLine-ups are a work-in-progress.
