Great seats, 3rd row loge center. 1,500 seat theatre. Ryan starts off strong. Band, save for keyboardist, not impressive. Basically, it's the Ryan show. He plays most leads, few backing vocals. Stage patter is awkward. Audience in rear achieves maximum drunkenness during "Damn Sam." Ryan appears to rebound. Audience still is churlish, bringing out the "retributive" Ryan. Stunning versions of "Imaginary Riverside", "Cold Roses", "Two", "Everybody Knows." Ryan's jokes fall flat because he is clearly pissed off. Some minor technical issues. Show ends, no encore. Basically 8 drunks ruin it for everyone. Thanks, drinks. Ryan could use a stronger band.
