Whiskeytown was Ryan Adams (guitar, vocals); Caitlin Cary (fiddle, vocals); Mike Daly (organ); Brad Rice (guitar); and James Iha (guitar). Whiskeytown was joined by House Band members Liesz (pedal steel); Leadon (mandolin); and Johns (drums). After Show Performance: Another great thing that happened after the Gram taping was an impromptu sit-down performance at a little Irish bar in the East Village by: Ryan, Caitlin, Gillian Welch, Dave Rawlings, Jim Lauderdale & the Irish house duo. Steve Earle was also there, but didn't play. Highlights I can recall were My Heart is Broken & Theme for a Trucker from the Bloodshot 7 as well as Gillian Welch's Orphan Girl with the entire bar singing the chorus. A beautiful night to be sure.Line-upLine-ups are a work-in-progress.
